A free medical and Dental camp was held at Infant Mary’s School, Jeppu, on March 1, 2026, organised by St Joseph Church, Jeppu, along with Catholic Sabha, ICYM and the health commission, in collaboration with NG WORLD Charitable Trust, KMC Hospitals and Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangaluru.

The camp was inaugurated by parish priest Fr Maxim D’Souza, who stressed the importance of preventive healthcare. Several specialists offered free services including ECG, eye check-ups, foot care, general medicine, dermatology, ENT, orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, dental care and blood sugar testing. KMC Hospital also issued “Green Cards” to eligible patients for further treatment benefits.

Dr Praveen Chandra delivered a diabetes awareness talk themed “I Will Not Walk Barefoot,” highlighting proper foot care and early diagnosis.

A total of 137 people benefited from the camp, supported by around 45 doctors and staff, making the initiative a meaningful success.
