Madanthyar, March 20, 2026: A Cancer Awareness Programme was organized at Madanthyar by NG World Charitable Trust and DKRDS Belthangady, in collaboration with Caritas India, Sneha Jyothi N Sneha Kiran Women’s District and Taluk Alliance, Sahaya Astha, Grama Panchayat Madanthyar, and Alva’s Social Work Division.
The programme was inaugurated by Fr. and the Panchayat President, who highlighted the importance of cancer awareness and early detection.
A fund collection drive was also held, and the amount collected was distributed to support a cancer patient.
The event saw active participation from the local community and volunteers.
