Medical Camp at Kudthamugeru, Salethur- Vitla
On August 15th, a collaborative medical camp was organized at D.K. Gilla Panchayath United Higher Primary School in Kudthamuger. This initiative was made possible by the joint efforts of Speedy Multi Modes, Prajna Counselling Center, NG World Charitable Trust (R) Mangalore, Top & Top Charitable Trust Kudthamuger, and the SDMC Committee Mankude.
The event commenced with a celebration of the 78th Independence Day at Kudthamuger Junction, where Mr. Narayana Bhutt Kaiyur, President of Janardana Vedike, hoisted the national flag.
The formal program for the medical camp began at 9:30 AM, featuring representatives from each partnering organization on stage. Distinguished guests included:
Mr. Narayana Bhutt Kaiyur spoke about the significance of Independence Day, stating, “This day is not just a celebration of our past achievements, but also a reminder of our responsibilities as citizens. As we unfurl the tricolor flag today, let us remember that the true essence of freedom lies in upholding the values of equality, justice, and brotherhood.”
Subhash Chandra Shetty emphasized the importance of health, noting, “It is essential for everyone to prioritize their health through proper nutrition and regular check-ups. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the services offered at this medical camp.” Each representative echoed the importance of providing medical services in rural areas.
As part of the camp, NG World Charitable Trust (R) Mangalore distributed 97 out of 148 free glasses to those in need, ensuring that vision care was adequately addressed.
